Our exhibit has caves/dens for the hyenas to have privacy and dens for there new young. We also will, have tall grass, so they can camouflage naturally while hunting. We will include, short grass to replace and mimic the brown African Savannah grass. We’ll also, add a lake so they can hunt near the shore, drink, and swim. Tall, big rocks where they can naturally dig their own dens. We will have loose dirt around the rocks so they can dig their dens. Chew toys to play with, Hyena’s like to play with uneaten body parts, also need very strong chew toy to practice eating bones, and large, tall trees for shade.

The zookeepers will need a door to come in and out of the enclosure, and they will need a place to give the food to the Hyenas. we should have a place to put the hyenas in while they're cleaning or fixing things. we might need a place like a nursing center so if the Hyenas get hurt or have a cub they can take care of them. Also, easy access to wherever the hyenas are so that means that we will
probably need doors or gates around so they can take them out easier. A filter for the waterfall lake so they won’t have to clean it all the time. The water should be drinkable.

The exhibit is 5,500 sq. feet, the exhibit should have plenty of trees and rocks so they can hide and have shade, it should also have room for the hyenas to run and play, and they should have a spot for them to relax and a place for them to have shade and to have privacy.

A tall wall to keep animals from escaping. We will have other animals go in their exhibit to keep the Hyena active. We will include, a long, large walkway for strollers and wheelchairs accessibility. Just in case, for overcrowding there will be a line, similar to the panda exhibit. We will definitely have signs with important information about the animal (endangered, diet, size, etc). We will also have fun interactive structures for kids to play on, similar to the gorilla exhibit and the polar bear exhibit.
